Processes that run on their own.

If tasks constantly need chasing, data gets retyped by hand, and work stops whenever the manager is away, I help you sort out the process and pick a technical solution that fits it.

Situations you may recognise

Does any of this sound familiar?

Work usually starts with one everyday problem that keeps eating time or causing mistakes.

Team operations

Tasks and agreements get lost in work chats, so nobody is sure who is doing what.

The manager spends time rereading conversations, creating tasks and chasing deadlines, while the team has no appetite for yet another system.

What I built

An assistant turns work chats into tasks, meetings and reminders, and both the manager and the team see progress in one overview.

Document processing

The archive holds thousands of paper cards, and the only way to find something is to look for it by hand.

Retyping the data card by card would take months, and mistakes creep in easily when it is done in a hurry.

What I built

Documents are scanned, recognised and checked before the structured data goes into the existing record system.

Finance

Invoices arrive by email, approvals stay in chat, and everything has to be pieced together by hand before payment.

The finance person has to work out who approved an invoice, which project it belongs to and whether it has already been paid.

What I built

Invoices move through one workflow where they are checked, approved and prepared for a safe import into online banking.

Sales

Customer history lives in several people's inboxes, so nobody really knows when and what was last discussed.

Deals are lost not because of a lack of interest, but because the next step was never written down or brought up in time.

What I built

A shared workspace collects customer correspondence, shows the sales stage and reminds the team about the next step.

Education

There is plenty of learning material, but splitting it into topics and preparing exercises still happens by hand.

Specialists spend their time moving and formatting information, although their most valuable work is checking the quality of the content.

What I built

The system structures materials by topic and learning outcome, then helps prepare exercises that can be graded.

Content

The same idea gets rewritten from scratch for every channel, while the publishing plan lives in a separate file.

Producing content takes a lot of time, and across platforms the company often ends up sounding like several different brands.

What I built

One idea becomes a coordinated plan and suitable versions for the website, the newsletter and social networks.

Dual interfaces

One system that works both in chat and in a traditional interface.

The traditional interface is where you review data, filter records, change settings and follow progress, while in chat the same system is operated with an ordinary message, for example creating a task, moving a meeting or asking for a summary.

Chat is not a separate bot running on its own. Both interfaces use the same data, permissions and business rules, so the team gets the speed of chat without losing the visibility and control of dependable software.

About me

I combine management experience with hands-on software development.

I have built departments from scratch, led a company of more than 100 people and put AI systems into daily use, so I start the conversation with the process and the people rather than a list of technologies.

On a project I do the discovery, build the solution and help the team adopt it myself, so there are no layers of intermediaries between the business problem and the technical delivery.

A prototype thrown together quickly is not the same as a secure system for daily work.

For a company system it is not enough to look good in a demo. I build solutions with testable logic, access control, error handling, backups and monitoring, so they stay dependable and maintainable over the long run.

How we work together

Every step has a concrete result and a deadline, so at any moment it is clear what is happening and what comes next.

01

A conversation about one process

We pick the one process that eats the most time and work out how many hours a week it costs and where information goes missing.

02

A proposal within two working days

You get a description of exactly what the system will do, with a fixed price and deadline, so the scope and the cost are clear before any work starts.

03

Development with a demo every few days

I build the first working version and show progress regularly, so the team can try it during development and say what needs adjusting.

04

Launch and maintenance

I connect the system to the tools the team already uses, train the people who will work with it, and agree on further maintenance or the next process.

What people I've worked with say

Ivars built a new user-acquisition department from scratch in just a couple of months, an outstanding result. He was always building or adapting solutions (including AI) to automate operations and make the team more and more efficient.
Guntis Pontags
Owner, Estoty (gaming)
We confidently recommend Ivars to any organization that wants to put its processes in order, improve efficiency, and build a sustainable, people-oriented work environment.
Zane Sirsniņa
Board member, Dental Medical (healthcare)
Solid person to have if you want to push AI from “interesting” to “actually useful” inside a company. Ivars takes ownership, moves things forward, and delivers without overcomplicating.
Dainis Kruze
CEO, Aerones (robotics)

We start with one system, at no risk.

I work with companies with at least €500,000 in annual revenue that want to automate several processes over the long term. The first system is limited to five working days of development, and if you do not use it after trying it out, you pay nothing for the build.
